About Williams Farms

Our History

Williams Farms is a 4th generation Florida agricultural family farm. The Williams family began farming in the late 1800’s as subsistence farmers which led the next generation into truck farming. In the late 1950’s our founder, James E. Williams, Jr. took the risk of venturing out on his own as an entrepreneurial farmer. Living in Collier County, James farmed vegetables, grew citrus trees, planted citrus groves, and raised cattle. James was eventually joined in to the farming and cattle  business by his children who continue the daily operations.  The Williams Family continues to be proactive in passing on the family farm legacy to their future generations as it was passed to them, all with the mind set “if you take care of the land, the land will take care of you”, a direct quote from James.
